Prayer

Luke 18:1 (NIV): "Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up".

Do you have issues with praying? Stumble to vocalize your prayers aloud like I do? Then this is the group for you. 

Join me as we write our prayers to Jesus in a prayer journal. In this group we will build confidence in vocalizing our prayers aloud by writing our daily prayers and (voluntarily) reading them aloud. There is no right or wrong way to pray but prayer is a must in keeping a strong relationship with our savior. 

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (ESV): "Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you".

As we meet we will open up with a prayer for the group. We will then have a brief discussion of things happening within us or around us that we feel need to be covered in prayer. We will then take time to personally write ✍️ our prayers out in our prayer journal. After we are done writing our prayers we will voluntarily read our prayers aloud; helping us build the confidence in vocalizing our prayers. By the time you leave this group I am hoping you feel stronger in voicing your prayers aloud versus writing them down or writing your prayers and reading them aloud. God wants to hear you speak and call to him.
