Mentoring Men
Bible Study
Small group vision:
This group is about mentoring men to become better godly leaders at home, in the workplace and in society at large. The hope is that they will also become mentoring men to others.
We'll do this through both bible study (video series, reading plans...) and outside activities designed to intentionally shape our spiritual selves into the image of God while being accountable to our fellow brothers.
For the summer 2024 cycle we will be meeting at Roger's townhome (just north of the Ramsey St-I295 exit) to have a more relaxed "summery" atmosphere. We will be watching 1-2 sessions of a video series detailing the historical and archeologic evidence of events that took place in the book of Exodus. Trust me, this is a faith-building educational series. Seeing the evidence of God's story throughout history is awesome! We will have discussion and fellowship time built in to the meetings.
In July we will be participating in ServeMonth, with the tentative plan to perform various projects at a children's activity center in Lumberton. Other Serve opportunities will likely be planned as well.
