The Educational Resources Small Group is based on the following scriptures:
Proverbs 1:7
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.”
This verse emphasizes the importance of having reverence for God as the foundation of true knowledge. It reminds us that those who reject wisdom and instruction are foolish. Education and success in life should be rooted in a deep respect for God and His wisdom.
Proverbs 4:13
“Hold on to instruction, do not let it go; guard it well, for it is your life.”
This verse underscores the value of education in navigating life's challenges. It encourages us to hold on to instruction, not letting it go, as it is our life. Education is not just about acquiring knowledge, but also about applying and preserving what we learn, empowering us to face life's challenges with confidence and resilience.
The group will provide interactive and engaging websites for children and adults. In addition, field trips will be taken, and face-to-face sessions will be held on practical topics such as bullying and basic automobile mechanics. These topics are chosen to equip participants with the knowledge and skills they need to navigate life's challenges with confidence.
Health, Science, and Career Fairs will be held. A Science Carnival will also be facilitated to allow children to experiment with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).
