Are you recently 'retired' from full-time employment? Are you active and open to retirement as an opportunity to grow and gain health, not lose it? Do you have a long bucket list? A renewed sense of God's purpose in your life? Or are you overwhelmed by possibilities and not sure where to start? Many of us excitedly jump into retirement, well-intentioned with extra exercise and activity, until we meet our first injury or setback. Or maybe we already have some aches and pains, so we don't jump in at all. Whether or not we are spending an hour a day exercising, our health habits during the other 23 hours are crucial to not just our lifespan but our healthspan - the number of healthy years ahead on this side of Heaven. Retirement frees up 40 hours each week - 40 hours to move toward health or away from it. Through six sessions over the next 12 weeks, let's establish healthy habits, and hold each other accountable. To help achieve your retirement goals and live the life you worked so hard for.
